The routes and points of interface through landscapes are guides and records of people’s
activities, just as the peoples are records of the environment and its life.
i didn’t see you there, a temporary street intervention in Bristol 2013 situated 12 objects
on commuter routes into the city centre. The newly created objects formed a relationship
with their host piece of municipal street furniture; benches, bikes racks and bins.
People would walk the same way each day, but encounter the unexpected, brightly
coloured objects as a temporary intervention into the daily routine, thereby encouraging a
refreshed look at the urban environment.
