i didn’t see you there

The routes and points of interface through landscapes are guides and records of people’s

activities, just as the peoples are records of the environment and its life.

i didn’t see you there, a temporary street intervention in Bristol 2013 situated 12 objects

on commuter routes into the city centre. The newly created objects formed a relationship

with their host piece of municipal street furniture; benches, bikes racks and bins.

People would walk the same way each day, but encounter the unexpected, brightly

coloured objects as a temporary intervention into the daily routine, thereby encouraging a

refreshed look at the urban environment.
